Marriage is a really complicated relationship and requires a lot of love, understanding and trust for couples to stay together happily. Both parties shuld be willing to put into the relationship, if they want their marriage to work. Unfortunately misunderstandings take place once in a while, but you should make it a point to speak up and make things as clear as possible. Take responsibility:

Marriage is not a child's play. When you get married, you accept to take upon a whole load of responsibilities and challenges. So if there are things that you need to take care of, put your heart and soul into it and give your best shot everytime. If you have been alloted certain tasks, then you have to get have to get those tasks complete no matter what. Remember, if you are busy in your office, working hard to provide food for your family, then your wife is working at home too!


Talk frequently:

The best gift that god almight could ever give is the power to communicate. We can express ourselves openly, share ideas and solve a lot of problems, unlike animals. But not many married couples talk openly which is why they come across problems.


Show empathy:

Many times we just act selfish and only see to our problems instead of seeing our partners problems. If you really want your marriage to last, show some empathy towards your wife and help her out with her problems. The more you will understand her problems, she will understand your too!
