Video marketing: Are you really reaping the rewards

I started a marketing campaign a few months before. It was a video marketing campaign that pointed out a link to a weight loss product(cpa offer). I uploaded several videos on youtube and was seeing impressions on the money sites as well. The page that i was promoting, had a very catchy headline and was well designed by a reputed internet marketer. However, there were no converts.
Why?

Well, i was uploading weight loss videos, with pictures music etc. But i wasn't really getting the number of impressions that i expected. That's because i uploaded weight loss videos with titles like,

" Lose weight in no time"
" Now you can lose weight at command"

etc.

So i decided to start marketing my webpage, with the help of funny videos, since they got more views that weight loss videos, but again nothing really happened. So one fine day, i decided to start promoting youtube videos by doing and intensive research on keywords. I found a few good keywords and started uploading my videos on several video sharing sites with the keywords as titles. Then took a step ahead and bookmarked the videos on several bookmarking sites.

Just as i expected, the views really went up high and the videos got ranked on google. Didn't really make me rich, but i did see a few converts, which was not something that had happened before. So if you are thinking of going with video marketing, make sure to do an intense research on keywords, tags and try to bookmarking them on as many sites as possible. As your video will get loads of views, you will start seeing the traffic and the converts. All the best.
