Not true at all. When you create a website, you don't really reap the rewards immediately. You receive the rewards at a later stage. May be, you get a sale or an adsense click or a cpa lead captured, while you were sleeping. But you are the person who really put in the work for that website. You it's not supposed to be thought of as free money. Internet marketing is a very hectic game with all the rules changing all the time. So be prepared to work even harder.

3) You can start your business instantly and there is no investment involved

Well at the end of the day, there is an investment. As an internet marketer, you invest your time and energy into your business. Then you have to invest some time in website creation and some money for buying tools like plugins for wordpress, themes, twitter tools, facebook tools etc. Even if you got all the tools for free, you'd still have to work on your website and you energy is being used. If you were to work in an office, you would be paid for your time.

Internet marketing isn't what it used to be ten years back.Today, everything has changed and it's getting harder to make money online. I am not saying that it's impossible to make money, but you just need the right kind of guidance and you need to undergo a huge learning curve to make the money you need to life happily.
