The Chevrolet Cruze will not hit the streets , off the assembly line at GM's Lordstown , Ohio plant and into the united states till the next spring . At the moment , GM's Korean operations are preparing to get the car in European and Asian showrooms . The Cruze is a one of a kind car, of the new generation cars of Gm's Delta "global compact car platform " . This season , the platform will also spread to models such new Opel Astra and the next year to the Volt and Orlando models . By 2011 Chevrolet Cruze will become the most conventional small car of its kind .
